## What does flattening do?

In CAMT files, banks often group multiple payments together in a single "batch" entry. For example, all standing orders executed on the same day might appear as one entry with multiple sub-transactions.

This tool separates each sub-transaction into its own independent entry, making it easier to import into your accounting software where each transaction should be a separate line item.
